I was born and partially raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala. We moved because my dad was blessed with the opportunity to come and practice dentistry in the States.
Clovis, California is now my second home.
In Clovis, I attended Riverview and MountainView elementaries, Alta Sierra Middle School, Buchanan High School (Go Bears!) and then came to Provo, UT to go to BYU (Go Cougs!)
I graduated from BYU in the Summer of 2014, with a Bachelors in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Science and a minor in Political Science. I am now actively pursuing entry into Med School. Which one, you might ask? Well, I have my top picks set as the University of Utah, Baylor, or UCSD. But I'm willing to go anywhere I get accepted. Getting accepted will be a huge blessing in and of itself!
I can't wait to help other people. My family's passionate about helping the people of our country, and one day we hope to establish a hospital in Santa Maria Cahabon, Alta Verapaz. Oh, and an NGO. My parents are pretty much the coolest and leaving my sister and I some incredibly big shoes to fill.
I'm a dancing, traveling, fashion, and food enthusiast. Pretty much anything girly. But my alter ego is Mindy Lahiri from The Mindy Project. I'm striving to be a sweet professional with an awesome sense of grounded-ness, charity, and class. It will be my lifelong pursuit.
